Learn how to copy your public key (wallet address) and receive crypto assets from your loved ones.
With your mobile phone, you can do basic crypto transactions such as sending and receiving coins via your Dopamine App. You can also view your public key (wallet address to receive crypto). But first, what is a public key?
Public key = Wallet address
A public key is simply a cryptographic code that allows you to receive cryptocurrencies. Anyone can send crypto assets to the public key.
Typically the public key consists of a very long string of numbers, so it is squashed and contracted to form the public address. In effect, the public address is a human-readable version of the public key.
Overall, the private key produces the public key, which, in turn, creates the public address.
Coins and Tokens that you can Receive
You can receive coins or tokens from anyone. It can come directly from another Dopamine wallet or any other crypto wallet.
Below are some of the major coins/tokens that the Dopamine App supports:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Fusion (FSN)
- Ethereum (ETH) — including all ERC20 tokens
- Binance (BSC) — including BEP2 tokens
- Fantom (FTM)

- Fuse (FUSE)
You can see the wallet address and receive any crypto assets you see on the wallet tab. While sharing, just ensure that you provide the correct receiving address for a particular asset you want to receive. To avoid any mistakes, always open the Dopamine App and confirm your wallet address before sharing them with the sender.
How to view your public key and receive crypto in the Dopamine app
To receive funds from another wallet, all you have to do is copy and share your wallet address. For example, dopamine Wallet provides the address via QR code and a long string of letters and numbers. Here are the exact steps to find the wallet address and receive funds.
Step by step guide — receive crypto
- Open your dopamine app
- Go to the Defi tab
The icon is on the bottom left, right beside the market tab. Then click on the wallets option
- Choose the coin you want to receive
For this guide, we chose bitcoin. Next, click the arrow button and then tap receive.
- Click receive
Here, your public key (address) will be revealed to you in both QR code and address. You can either copy the address or take a screenshot of the QR code for scanning.
- Share your address
Once you have copied the address, share it with the sender and wait for the Crypto to appear in your wallet.

Generally, one of the essential things to note about sending and receiving cryptocurrency is that it’s irreversible. If you share the wrong wallet address, the funds are lost forever.
In case of a typo, the Dopamine wallet will record it as an invalid address. However, If you have provided an incorrect address, your transactions will undoubtedly fail, and most likely, your funds may be lost forever.
Finally, if the address you shared belongs to another user, you can’t cancel the transaction or get a refund.
